Check 21 option added to USA ePay’s payment processing services
USAePay, a GorCorp company, a payment gateway service provider, announced the launch of Check 21 functionality for their USA eCheck service through VeriCheck.

According to the company statement the new service was developed to help merchants improve overall efficiency of their check processing. Check 21 allows merchants to scan their consumer's check payment at the point of sale. The check image is scanned securely into the USA ePay Payment Gateway where the image is stored for the merchant to access through their merchant console at anytime. The merchants will be able to have significant cost savings from improved float time, fraud detection, and more efficient processing. The service will also benefit merchant's by shortening turn-around time, improving customer service, and increasing collection rates on returned checks.

"We are very excited to have this new functionality for our USA eCheck service," says Martin Drake, Vice President of Business Development at USA ePay. "Check 21 functionality will significantly enhance our retail offering by enabling merchant's to process check transactions more efficiently with reduced risk and liability." "We are very excited to add this product to our mix with USA ePay," says Jerry Hannah, President and CEO at VeriCheck. "Check 21 is the future for businesses to safely process checks. The ability to process items for deposit from your office instead of the bank will quickly become the standard, and businesses of all sizes will benefit."
