Dell launches a cheap but powerful laptop for students

One of the world leaders Texas-based Dell has announced the launch of its new Dell Studio laptop with Intel Pentium Dual Core and Intel Core 2 Duo processors and integrated graphics provided by the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M G.  According to Dell this thin notebook was designed especially for students who can use it as "a workhorse by day and entertainment center at night."

Following the modern tendencies the manufacturers made the computer thin, light and bright. Dell Studio 14z available in 6 colors: Black Chain Link, Midnight Blue, Spring Green, Plum Purple, Ruby Red and Promise Pink (U.S. only).

Among features one can note a 1.3 megapixel webcam with face recognition software, HDMI, eSATA, 8-in-1 card reader, WiFI and Bluetooth, and integrated optical drive. Studio 14z weights 1,95 kg and is just 30,5 mm width.
