PayPal does not really protect buyers and fails to read users' messages

In spite of the fact PayPal claims on its web site "You won't find another online financial institution that's better at protecting its sellers than PayPal," the company’s consumer suffered from problems in contacting the online service.

Thus, Jale Avcil was affected after she bid her iPod via the eBay, for £265. When the buyer was found and Avcil sent the item by special delivery, she claimed the item never arrived, which was odd since Royal Mail's tracking service showed that someone of the same name had signed for it.

A month later Avcil figured out that that the buyer claimed a refund through his credit card issuer and that PayPal had sanctioned a chargeback. She also found another eBay seller who had had the similar experience.

She has a firm belief that both eBay and PayPal never read messages as she was failing every time attempting to contact them.

The most confusing thing is that PayPal had recently amended its protection policy.
