A Google executive stepping down from a president post
It has been disclosed that the president of Google Inc's global display advertising business, David Rosenblatt, is leaving the company.

A Google spokeswoman stated that Rosenblatt, who had joined Google last year was the CEO of DoubleClick, which Google bought for $3.1 billion to strengthen its position in the Internet display advertising business, will leave the company in mid-May. Moreover, it is known that Henrique De Castro from Google's European sales leadership team to replace Rosenblatt.

It should be noted that, as analysts say, a great amount of Google's revenue, which made $5.51 billion in the first quarter, comes from text-based ads appearing alongside Google's search results. However, Ross Sandler, RBC Capital Markets analyst, noted other executives of the company should be able to fill shoes of those leaving Google.

Sandler added that the situation with the executives leaving the company was more of individuals' situations rather than anything about Google's business. He added that Rosenblatt had been at DoubleClick for 12 years and Google's integration of DoubleClick is complete.
