Visa will file a universal shelf registration statement
Visa Inc. payment system has announced that it is going to file a universal shelf registration statement on Form S-3 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. According to press release of this payment processor it intends to file such a registration statement within coming 10 days. 

Although the Company expects to have the flexibility under the universal shelf to quickly access the capital markets with either equity or debt security offerings, Visa has no immediate plans to issue any such securities.
