Online gambling offered by Galena for mobile phones in Peru

Corporación Galena has announced that it was awarded a twenty year license to offer mobile online gambling in Peru, reports Online-Casinos.com. The new license will enable the company to provide mobile lotto based on text messaging.

The company will donate 5.5% of its lottery profits to the Chulucana’s Beneficence. At this point it should be noted that the global growth for the mobile phone games segment is expected to reach US$ 16.6 billion by the year 2011, and the profit projection for the first year of running a SMS lottery in Peru is US$ 12.7 million. 

Corporación Galena is an affiliate of Managed Gaming Solutions. It is a Peruvian company that operates lottery and mobile phone games, and is supported by both MGS, a Finnish public company quoted on the Frankfurt stock Exchange, and Silverstring investment N.V., a company with professional experience in the gaming industry in the international market.
