Women are more faithful to console games?
Nielsen Games states that gamers are looking a lot more feminine nowadays.

It used to be that the stereotype of a gamer was: male, ages 12 to 17 with annual household income of $70,000 or more, mostly playing PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

However, times have changed. Gaming became very popular among older players, and other demographic groups, including women.

The research has shown that women ages 25 and older tend to be more faithful to their consoles than men of the same age. Moreover, 29% of total PC game players are women aged 25 - 54, which made the largest among all the groups. Women of 55 and up made 17% of the market, the third-largest after men 25 to 54.

Talking about the games played on computer, Solitaire, FreeCell, Hearts, Minesweeper and Pinball, games that generally come prepackaged with many PCs, were the most popular.
