More secure “cloud computing” with Cisco
Cisco Systems Inc has introduced new network security products, aimed at protecting companies' Web-based software and services from attacks.

Cisco has entered a new area of growth, the area of collaborative software and “cloud computing”. “Cloud computing” happens when companies move more of their software and services online, in order to save space and computing power. However, such actions are subject to viruses and external attacks on corporate data and computer systems.

Cisco reports that the new security products will include software that filters through online traffic, and services that help companies assess the security of their technology.

Another news announced by Cisco was upgrading its WebEx online meeting software. The company stated it was introducing more advanced routing systems that help handle the increase in online traffic.
