A branch-supported online investment firm Scottrade announced the appointment of Grant Bourzikas as a Director of Operations Technology and Enterprise Information Security. The firm also promoted Chris Meitz to Director of Operational Controls. They will both lead teams under the direction of Executive Director of Operations Catherine Maher.

Bourzikas will be responsible for Scottrade’s technology and systems vision for Scottrade Operations while further overseeing business continuity and enterprise information security. Besides, he will also be addressing the issues of data privacy and record retention for the firm. Previously Bourzikas served as Director of Information Security and Business Continuity. Before coming to the investment firm he worked in information security and privacy, internal audit and business process optimization.

Meitz will develop a team to identify and mitigate operational risks, enhance the firm’s controls framework, and improve operational processes. Meitz occupied a position of Associate Director of Compliance. Before joining Scottrade Meitz worked for four years as Compliance Director for a regional broker dealer and advisory firm.
