MasterCard ATM Hunter – a new MasterCard application for iPhone and iPod users

MasterCard Worldwide has announced about its innovation for iPhone and iPod touch users which now allows them to locate the nearest ATM wherever in the world they are. More than two million consumers contact MasterCard via the Internet, phone and SMS to find ATM locations. With new MasterCard ATM Hunter application they can do it quickly and easily. While looking for the ATM users can make their search more concrete according to their unique banking needs – whether they need to find a specific financial institution to make a deposit or avoid ATM withdrawal fees. Location awareness technologies, using by the MasterCard ATM Hunter, allow it to find wheelchair accessible, drive-through, or 24-hour access ATMs and provide directions to get there. Being the first in a series of applications that MasterCard is developing specifically for iPhone and iPod touch, MasterCard ATM Hunter is available for free from Apple’s App Store.
