Hispanics are more predisposed to Internet addiction? Survey
Scarborough Research that conducted a research on usage of Internet by Hispanics has found out that 54% of Hispanics were online in 2008 comparing to 69% penetration rate of total US users. 

Hispanics mainly accessed music, video, audio and movies from the Internet. It has also been calculated that, online Hispanics were 211% more likely to download digital content, despite the cat that they were slightly less likely to have broadband than the average US adult Internet user. 

Those Hispanic Internet users who were most likely to subscribe to broadband were residents of major population hubs such as Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and five cities in Texas. 

Talking about the majority of Hispanic Internet users, it could be said that 57% of them were between the ages of 18 and 34, 50% had household incomes over $50,000 per year, 77% were employed either full- or part-time and 55% were homeowners.
