Thomas B. Sabol joins Hypercom as a Chief Financial Officer

Hypercom Corporation, the company that delivers a full suite of high security, end-to-end electronic payment products and services, on Monday announced the appointment of Thomas B. Sabol as Chief Financial Officer, who will step in for currently serving Robert M. Vreeland. Present Chief Financial Officer will continue in a leadership position within the Global Finance team. Both appointments are effective on April 20. 

Mr. Sabol is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Marquette University. He joins Hypercom from Suntron Corporation where he was serving for the past three years as Chief Financial Officer and has been a Director since July 2004. Mr. Sabol will stay with Suntron Corporation until April 15, 2009. Previously, Mr. Sabol held Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer positions with Wolverine Tube, Inc. and Plexus Corp. He also has senior auditor experience with Kemper Corporation and Coopers & Lybrand.

Hypercom continues the transformation of the business model, integrating the TeT acquisition, focusing on the key objectives to gain market share, improve gross margins and operating efficiencies, and strengthen the ability to complete globally.
