TSYS provides POS solutions to healthcare agencies

TSYS Acquiring Solutions has announced the start of its partnership with mPay Gateway and Nova Libra, aimed at providing point-of-sale payment solutions for healthcare providers, their patients, pharmacies and drug stores. 

mPay Gateway’s point-of-sale solution, allows calculation and collection of patient’s service fees while he is still in the doctors’ office. Consequently, it helps to avoid costs related to fees collection and writing off uncollectible patient accounts. 

Brian K. Beutner, chief executive officer of mPay Gateway said “Our physician practice customers have seen a 50 percent reduction in outstanding accounts receivables using the mPay Gateway solution.”

TSYS Acquiring Solutions jointly with Nova Libra is now offering a comprehensive Inventory Information Approval System (IIAS) solution. The system is built on Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System® (RMS) software. The solution enables pharmacies and drug stores to ensure Internal Revenue Services (IRS) compliance which prohibits accepting Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) debit cards without an IIAS.
