A hacker works as an advisor to a telecom company
Owen Thor Walker from Zealand, who helped a group of hackers break into 1.3 million computers and steal millions of dollars from bank accounts, has got a job as a security consultant for a TelstraClear telecom company.

Last July Walker at the age of 18 was found guilty as his work for an international network, as estimated by FBI had caused losses of more than $20 million. However, "AKILL" (Walker’s online name) was released without a criminal record after paying a fine plus the cash paid by the criminal group for his work.

Walker has already delivered a number of seminars for TelstraClear stuff consisting of advised senior security and management. Chris Mirams, TelstraClear spokesman said the seminars concentrated on the types of cyber threats and the ways of defending against those threats. Moreover, Walker took part in company advertising campaign.
