Casino Gran Madrid deal sends Playtech shares up
Playtech shares went up 0.9 percent after the company had announced its agreement with Casino Gran Madrid aimed at providing casino and poker software.

Collins Stewart, the broker, has commented on the change by saying: "The Madrid region is one of the leaders of Spain's online gambling regulation drive, meaning the deal also reinforces Playtech's strengthening regulated position."

He added that the company full-year results which are to come on Thursday, should also contain few surprises. However, he said there is an "upgrade potential coming through from William Hill Online, Italy and, in the longer-term, further licensee wins".
