Online gambling can be honest?
Recent scandals at Absolute Bet and Ultimate Poker have prompted many software companies to produce security packages that could detect cheating and casino fraud. CogniSafe, Israel based IT company, has announced the launch of one of them already. PitBoss is software aimed at monitoring the honesty of online gambling.

The package is designed to spot illogical and irregular play. Moreover, it can judge whether the mistakes are caused by bots or software corruption. Company chief technical officer said the software used player behavior models and algorithms to detect fraudulent play.

So far none of the factors, including an attempted ban in the US, the recession, and weakened confidence in game integrity, online gambling continues to develop. The enhancement is expected to boost further with the introduction of UIGEA regulations, as they create more favorable conditions for all the parties.
