Yuseo estimates customer experience at ecommerce sites

Yuseo revealed e-Performance Observatory results on the High-Tech e-Commerce survey of the respondents supplied and managed by the Ciao Surveys. It observed the behavior of internet users on a large scale to quantify and qualify specifics of the customer experience while on the website.

The new generation of survey confirms that measuring performance of websites based on user experience would help identify the metric objectives shown to be immediate drivers for optimization of existing websites. The survey was carried out in three main European countries with similar business models to compare their respective performances of high-technology sector: UK, France and Germany, with more than 3.600 web users of 14 web sites.

In the UK, for instance, two sites, Laskys and Amazon, appear to be the most effective ones compared to the other sites, though with some significant differences between the tested features, that can be found through a set of small blocking elements throughout the customer navigation inducing substantial differences in performance.
