Wells Fargo and Wachovia recognized as top leading companies
Wells Fargo & Company was recognized as one of the best companies with high clients satisfaction level by three independent industry reports which include Phoenix-Hecht’s 2008 survey of cash management customers, Ernst & Young’s 2008 U.S. Cash Management Survey and a report of Greenwich Associates. All three analysts cited the merger with Wachovia as a positive factor that contributed to the company’s current success.

Phoenix-Hecht’s 2008 Upper Middle Market Quality Index survey assigned Wells Fargo and Wachovia each A+ in 19 of 38 categories, while all other banks averaged three A+ grades each. Besides, Wells Fargo and Wachovia were the only banks to record straight A grades across all 23 product quality categories in Phoenix-Hecht’s Large Corporate Quality Index. Wells Fargo and Wachovia alone earned A+ for customer service.

Ernst & Young’s 2008 U.S. Cash Management Survey named the combined Wachovia and Wells Fargo as No. 1 in market share in seven categories and placed it among the top three in market share in 18 of the survey’s 23 categories. Greenwich Associates recognized Wells Fargo or Wachovia in 13 of 17 categories.
