 eRx Network achieves EHNAC accreditation

eRx Network, LLC announced today that it has achieved full accreditation with the Healthcare Network Accreditation Program (HNAP) from the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC). The accreditation comes as a recognition for the company’s excellence in health data processing and transactions.

 The company was evaluated by EHNAC's consultative review process in areas of privacy measures, systems availability and security infrastructure. Moreover, EHNAC assessed the process of managing and transferring protected health information and concluded that all EHNAC criteria and industry standards are met or exceeded in those areas. eRx Network had received its first accreditation from EHNAC in July 2008 with e-Prescribing Accreditation Program (ePAP.eRx Network is a leading provider of a network for e-commerce applications to the U.S. pharmacy industry.  

The Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) is a non-profit organization that develops standard criteria and accredits organizations that electronically exchange healthcare data.
