PayMate joined ProPay and Moneybookers on eBay as a payment option
Australian online payment system has announced today a simple, low-cost fee structure for it's US Payment Services, to be launched on 26 February, 2009. According to the online payment processor it has been selected by online marketplace eBay as one of the tree outside payment options available on ebay.com. PayMate will join such known online payment gateways as ProPay which entered into agreement with online auction last year and Moneybookers that became available on the site earlier this month.

According to the company’s statement the fees cover many services that are often separately priced and include back-office services that can save sellers time and money, enabling a focus on online sales. Despite the fact that PayMate will be integrated only next week the system offers to register beforehand and “Win a Dream Aussie Vacation for Two!”

As for the transaction fees, PayMate has already announced that it will charge 3% of payment value and plus $0.50 per payment. Other details are available on the company’s site.
