Visa will present mobile payment technology at GSMA World Congress
Visa Europe and Visa Inc will demonstrate its cutting-edge mobile payments technology at the 2009 GSMA Mobile World Congress through real life illustrations.

Visa is expected to demonstrate Visa Mobile, its first commercial service in mobile offers that is enabled on Android powered mobile devices. Also, Visa will showcase NFC-based and SIM-based contactless payments which will enable customers to carry out mobile point of sale payments through their Visa payWave enabled mobile devices. Some other features that will be put on display includes handset-to-handset and online-to-handset money transfer, notification of card purchase activity and special offers and coupons delivered to the mobile device, Mobile Merchant that accepts Visa payments to mobile handsets, and others. 

Visa is the world’s largest retail electronic payments network operator. It offers transfer of value and information among financial institutions, merchants, consumers, businesses and government entities.
