MasterCard reports 71.1% increase in transactions processing
MasterCard has reported that the number of transactions processed through the MasterCard Gateway Service (MiGS) in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA) region exceeded the 100 million mark (71.1% increase from previous year). In US$ these transactions showed a 53% increase.

The APMEA region has been found to be company’s most vibrant region in terms of the usage of MiGS, which processes such Card-Not-Present (CNP) transactions as e-commerce, m-commerce, telephone and mail order transactions, and electronic bill payments.

The company already has over 100 key customer financial institutions, who are active users of MiGS, and more than 10,500 merchants across the region.
