UAPT processed US$12 billion in 2008 with just 38 staff
This week Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. reported about a successful ending of 2008 calendar year with positive income and volume results. Being the low cost payment processing company Universal Air Travel Plan managed to process US$12 billion last year during the previous year with just 38 employees in the staff across the globe.

Apart from this UATP also successfully developed a wide range of new solutions in addition to its core corporate travel charge card business. Among the payment system brands partnering with UAPT there are such processors as Acculynk, BillMeLater, HomeATM, Moneta and PayPal.

USS system implemented by UATP allows the company to carry out payment processing for travel agencies and low-cost air carriers outside of normal channels. Besides, UATP is planning to expand its client base in 2009 via its USS platform to include hotels and rental car companies. This will allow the company to significantly increase its charge volume as well as improve its core product offering.

At the moment UATP is partnering with such airlines as Aer Lingus, Air New Zealand, Alitalia, American Airlines, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Japan Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Lufthansa German Airlines, Qantas Airways, Ltd., Scandinavian Airlines System, United Airlines and US Airways.
