Western Union renews its money transfer agreement with India Post
The Western Union Company and India Post announced the renewal of a multi-year agreement with the aim of extending the coverage area of the Western Union® Money Transfer in India.

Anil Kapur, Managing Director of, Western Union Financial Services in South Asia commented on the news by highlighting, "Over the years, the association between India Post and Western Union has often been described as one of the more successful Public Private Partnership (PPP) programs in India ever."

The Western Union Company (NYSE: WU) is a global leader in money transfer services. The company works with around 100 postal organizations around the world. Especially Post offices in general and Post Masters in particular serve an important influencing role for villagers and community elders in Southern Asian regions. 

India Post is a Government of India enterprise.
