Paysafecard.com Ltd changes the name to Prepaid Services Company

A known UK-based payment system Paysafecard.com Ltd. has announced that it changes its trade name to Prepaid Services Company Ltd. with immediate effect. 

Michael Mueller, CEO of the paysafecard group, had explained the change by saying, "Our renaming is undertaken in a time where prepaid options for e-commerce are becoming increasingly well-known and popular among Internet users because they are very secure and easy to use. The name Prepaid Services Company Ltd. reveals more about the nature of our payment solution than the old name." He also noted that the new name will help the company to market future payment products. The company had reported that in 2008 there were 15 million transactions carried out using paysafecard. 

The paysafecard group has been expanding very widely in the last months. Originally Austrian based company now provides it services in Austria, Germany, UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Slovakia, Greece, Belgium, Slovenia, Switzerland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Poland, Denmark and the Czech Republic.
