Encore Payment Systems introduces a payment terminal application
A prominent Texas-based Encore Payment Systems, experiencing in the electronic payment processing recently released a new product Clear Charge, their flagship Point of Sale Software. This invention operates as a payment terminal after being installed on the computer.

"We work hard to offer a wide range of cost effective solutions for our merchants in order to fit their specific needs," said John Crouch, Chief Information Officer.

Clear Charge is PCI and PED compliant. The solution protects card holder’s data and it does not store cardholder data on the machine. Its internal reporting facilities provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports for each separate payment category. Also its simultaneously processing of 9 different merchant accounts on one system will be convenient for businesses such as salons.

Comments on Encore Payment Systems introduces a payment terminal application

unethical behavior

After over 30 days of dealing with Encore I have found them to be the most unethical corporation I have ever done business with in my life. They promised me to resolve my issues by July 1st. This is now July 24th and there still are problems that don't seem to be able to be resolved. The reason is that their staff work very hard to protect one another so that upper management never hears the consumers horror stories. they have made numerous promises they never keep. they have manipulated and deceived me in ways I didnt know possible. I had Chase payment systems look at the contract that is written in about a 5 font that there is so much deception by Encore and one Vice President said he has never seen such an unethical corporation. I am now stuck in a contract with a company I no longer trust and would never consider doing business with under any circumstances. Furthermore they convinced me to rent used equipment that is over 3 years old and they are charging me 67.00 per month for this garbage that is out of date compared to other readers. Beware and dont trust a word they say without pulling out your magnifying glass and having two attorneys read the most fine print I have ever seen.

Encore Payment Systems are liars

We decided to sign up with Encore after the sales rep assuring us that their software would work with our present POS system. We gave him a check for $125 and after about 2 weeks, the sales rep - Tom Crabtree - came back to us and advised us that their software isn't compatible and we would have to go through all these extra steps to clear out our tickets on our POS system. He asked us if we wanted to continue or if we wanted to cancel and he would make sure that the $125 was refunded back to us. Since their system couldn't do what they promised, we decided to cancel. It's been over a month now, and we have just been getting the run around about getting our refund back. Tom Crabtree gave us the number to his supervisor, Jarod Petkoff and now Jarod is giving us the run around. I think that they think that if they drag this out long enough, then we'll just go away. I hope that they realize that this is not the case. Don't ever go with Encore. They were untruthful about their fees and will only give you the run around with their customer service.
