Welcome a new online automated bill payment system

Jet Infosystems and Kabira Technologies announced the successful deployment and implementation of a new online automated bill payment system. The system is based on the Kabira Transaction Platform (KTP) software TM at OJSC Mosenergosbyt. Introduction of the system, aimed at managing processing and reconciliation of electricity bill payments in real time, has become a part of a global modernization program for OJSC Mosenergosbyt information systems.

The 64-bit memory-resident Kabira transaction processing platform was chosen due to its extremely high transaction throughput and high-availability that can support processing up to 300 business transactions per second during peak hours on a 4-way Sun Fire V490 Server. Consumer of the company are now able to pay their electricity bills though various payment channels, such as ATMs, self-service terminals, the Internet, etc. Other benefits of the system include: automated reconciliation of OJSC Mosenergosbyt payment registers between banks, with the registers of settlement banks; and possibility of integration with the existing automated billing system currently used by the company.
