VeriFone’s Vice President to enter the Board of TranZfinity

A new member was recently appointed to the Board of Directors at TranZfinity, a Carlsbad, California-based company that enables transaction solutions. The company announced that Bud Waller who is currently serving as an Executive Vice President for VeriFone, Inc. will join the Board. At VeriFone Waller held a variety of executive leadership positions since 1986, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Petroleum and Convenience Store Division. Additionally, Waller has a 11 year experience at General Electric Company.

TranZfinity assists bank card issuers, mobile network operators, mobile handset manufacturers, transportation systems, merchants and advertisers to shift from piloting contactless and NFC technologies to broader commercial rollouts. The company claims: “By using our products and solutions, application providers can create trusted relationships for online and offline access control, secure payments, and secure information sharing and storage in one solution without the high cost of infrastructure changes.”
