Yahoo! Mail and Gmail available now via AOL’s new Web Mail
An enhanced version of the popular application that enables one-click access to Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and a variety of third-party sites and destinations was recently announced by AOL's Products and Technologies Group. The company released its improved version of AOL Web Mail that offers users access to the third party sites directly from the AOL Web Mail page.

Among the key features added to the new Web Mail product there are these. Customers can now preview Yahoo! Mail and Gmail within the AOL Web Mail experience, as well as take advantage of one-click access to Yahoo! Mail and Gmail. What is more, AOL v solution and upgraded the user interface which is now more intuitive and user friendly. Users can also select from 45 new "skins" or themes to personalize their page. The new Web Mail allows online subscribers to customize their Web Mail page by choosing from a variety of new plug-ins from Plug-in Gallery offering one-click access to favorite sites.

Within the last several years AOL added over 30 new features and a variety of new functionality to Web Mail. The current updated version is being offered globally in more than 38 countries and locales worldwide. In 2008 AOL recorded over 48 million users, an increase of almost 4 million users on a year-over-year basis. ComScore reported that year-over-year in 2008, and Web Mail page views were up by more than 21%.
