WebMoney introduces finger-print access system to replace passwords and keys
The owners of the Webmoney e-wallets got an ability to use a new function: finger-prints authorization. This function provides the high level of security as a finger print is unique, but an access to the protected areas is still easy and fast.

When authorize with a help of “finger” you don’t need keep in mind passwords or save keys on a data carrier – you just need to get special scanner (which is also integrated into the majority of updated lap-tops, as well as mousse and keyboards) and to load special software from E-num. Authorization is possible in any way you like: by one finger-print or by any sequence of them.

Peculiarities:
•    Every finger-print as well as a pattern obtained after the processing finger replica is unique
•    Anti-phishing security
•    Anti-fraud protection
•    Ability to get authorization by one finger-print or by any sequence of them
•    The list of backing devices is constantly being expanded (external and internal readers built-in lap-tops and PCs)

However Hitachi specialists allege that the vein pattern is much more difficult to be counterfeited. And the company has already start selling devices named Finger Vein – biometric infrared scanner which scans the vein pattern on the human finger. Device is also integrated with a computer through the USB-port.
