MEXX partners with Wirecard

Wirecard AG has been announced to have started providing payment services for online shop Mexx Europe B.V. The latter has accepted a package solution from Wirecard AG and Wirecard Bank AG for accepting credit cards in its online shop.

Crrently customers from Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands can use the service. Jeroen van Stijn, Head of Online Operations of Mexx Europe B.V. stated that Mexx was one of the first producers to rely on the multi-channel distribution approach including stores, catalogs and Internet. “We found this economical solution for credit card payment processing from a single source to be quite compelling," she said. Haldun Dagistan, Sales Manager Consumer Goods of Wirecard AG said, "From February 2009, the cooperative venture with Mexx will extend from credit card processing in four European countries, to include processing and settlement services of the Dutch debit card iDEAL."

The services provided by Wirecard consist of individually tailored, industry- and customer-specific payment and risk management solutions. The services provided by Wirecard Bank AG fulfill the range of products and services for business customers.
