Moneybookers launches new payment interface for online shops
Moneybookers has announced the development of a new payment interface that offers quick and easy Integration into online shops. The first shop that has introduced the new offer of Moneybbokers was Magento, a successful Open Source shop software provider. Owing to this integration the customers of Magento have got an opportunity to pay using credit card or one of the 60 other local payment options provided by payment processor. Moneybookers is available as a free plug-in. To use that opportunity the users need to sign up for a Moneybookers merchant account via the backend of the system. Magento payment system was co-developed by Phoenix Media.

"Direct payment methods are gaining more prominence, since they facilitate access to new customer groups and international markets. With the integration of Moneybookers as a payment system the online retailer benefits from our extensive customer base as well as our marketing activities, which we currently offer young start-ups as an additional jump-start. Successful internet start-ups such as Mymuesli.com, as well as global brands such as Skype and AOL, didn't choose us by chance as their payment solution," commented Nikolai Riesenkampff, Co-CEO of Moneybookers.
