Obama supported the idea of free play poker online
Barack Obama was suggested to "let online poker players in the United States play legally and without fear of prosecution" . The suggestion appeared on his "Citizen's Briefing Book" website. It has quickly been voted the second-most-popular idea and is promised to be seen by the President-elect.This idea was extremely supported by internet users. According to Bob Pajich of CardPlayer.com the initiative is gaining massive support. Here is one of the readers' request:

"Please let all Gambling911.com readers know to check out the Citizen Briefing website and voice their own opinion".

It was Obama's transition team that set up the site that is designed in very convenient way for users. It allows citizens to submit and promote suggestions about what issues the President-elect needs to tackle during his term. And Obama has a powerful democrat in Congress who is making this an initiative as well. According to Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Barney Frank with the Obama administration these bad regulations wouldn't be observed. He admitted that the support opposing (these attempts to stop regulation) with more Democrats in Congress is made. Moreover, the suggestion for legalizing online poker is tied in with the recent economic downturn. However, the appeal to freed game poker online looks the following way: "Boost America's Economy with Legal Online Poker"

Poker and the online gambling sector as a whole is a multi-billion dollar industry, even though the current administration has made it difficult to join Internet poker rooms via credit card transactions. Also the the thing that Obama himself is a poker player needs no comments.
