Bank of America announced to support German artists
Bank of America has announced the financial support it will provide to support arts in Germany through the company’s sponsorship of E.W. Nay – Paintings from the 1960s at the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt. Nay is undoubtedly one of the best-known German post-war abstract artists of the 20th century and Bank of America is proud to help bring this unique exhibition to new audiences. This is just one of many annual exhibitions which Bank of America supports as part of its long-term partnership with the Schirn Kunsthalle, and with two other important Frankfurt institutions: the Städel Museum and the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung.

In line with the company’s philosophy of supporting institutions that support the community, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation provides grants to a wide range of arts organizations, supporting education and access programs and enabling institutions to expand their scope, and underwrites national and local performances, arts programs, and exhibitions. Through the Bank of America Traveling Exhibition and Loan Programs, the bank also lends its art collection to museums so they may expand their offerings for the benefit of their communities.

Bank of America understands that providing funding to institutions such as the Schirn Kunsthalle is critical to ensuring the cultural and economic vitality of its communities. The company is delighted to provide ongoing support to the Schirn and to contribute towards the cultural richness of Frankfurt and the Rhein-Main region.
