Qualcomm will donate in education of Indian children
In a move to support social and educational programs in India Qualcomm Incorporated, a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and data solutions, is collaborating with three local non-governmental organizations including Save The Children India in Mumbai, MV Foundation (MVF) in Hyderabad and Sikshana Foundation in Bengaluru.

Qualcomm plans to donate to ten Save The Children India centers in Mumbai. These centers will be providing advanced life skill training to underprivileged adolescent girls thus enabling them to get both financial and social status. Besides, Qualcomm will also contribute to construction of five classrooms at Save The Children India's Special Care Center.

Partnering with MVF Hyderabad, Qualcomm is expecting to enroll 2,500 children into the mainstream education system through residential bridge schools as well as structured residential coaching for young children to allow them further successfully enter and join the school system. In association with Sikshana Foundation, Bengaluru, Qualcomm will provide its support in adopting, empowering and improving government schools, leading to enhanced educational standards of 25 schools (~3200 students) in the Kanakapura district of Karnataka.
