California United Bank has created a new seat on the Board for Anne Williams
California United Bank has announced today the election of Anne A. Williams to the Board of Directors to fill a newly created seat on the Board. At the moment Ms. Williams works as the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Credit Officer of the Bank. 

Ms. Williams has been with the Bank since its inception, and played a key role in the establishment and formation of the Bank. She has held multiple executive roles in the California banking industry, including Senior Vice President / California Credit Risk Manager for US Bank; Executive Vice President / Chief Credit Officer for Santa Monica Bank; and Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Pacific Century Bank (formerly known as California United Bank). 

“Anne’s ascension to the Board of Directors adds an additional dimension of banking and business expertise, as well as community involvement to our Board of Directors,” commented Stephen G. Carpenter, Chairman of the Board. “The decision to name Anne to the Board was also a reflection of the critical role she plays in the management of the Bank.” 

A native of New Jersey, Ms. Williams is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and has studied at the Sorbonne, the Institute d’Études Politiques and Institute d’Études Phonétiques in Paris, France. She plays USTA League Tennis and is a member of the Los Angeles Tennis Club where she serves on the Board of Directors and is the Chairman of the Finance Committee.
