Today CheckFree, now part of Fiserv, Inc., has announced the release of its CheckFree Advantage Fee 6.2 client billing and revenue management solution. The new multi-lingual capability has been developed in conjunction with a tier 1
investment management client that has implemented this new capability at several locations globally. The principal difference of CheckFree Advantage Fee is a variety of language formats to localize the solution for specific client billing requirements.
CheckFree Advantage Fee enables local language invoices to be generated in languages such as Kanji and Chinese. These multi-lingual capabilities have also been extended to user screens, reporting and data import. Data import additionally supports double-byte character set XML. The CheckFree Advantage Fee enterprise-wide solution can support increasingly complex product and fee structures, allowing calculations to be made based on a wide range of fluctuating data. Reporting to the general ledger, clients can analyze and track revenue according to product and business lines across multiple regions and monitor outstanding client balances.
"Revenue management is a top priority in the current financial climate and with revenue and customer retention both at stake, multi-lingual capabilities enhance customer service and improve revenue collection. Many institutions have a global requirement to streamline and automate billing processes to prevent revenue leakage by consolidating global client invoicing processes onto a single platform, while keeping flexibility for local customization. CheckFree Advantage Fee Release 6.2 enables organizations with international operations to work seamlessly with each other in local languages to manage revenue processes and evolve their billing requirements," said Geoff Harries, vice president, product strategy, CheckFree Investment Services Software.
