VinaGame partner with VIB for electronic payments in Vietnam

New electronic payment service is being conjointly introduced in Vietnam by Viet Nam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB) and VinaGame. The new pilot service is to be known as Softpin Online. The project comes in line with the national strategy to replace tradintional cash usage with the alternative payment options.

The new solution will be available to VinaGame's agents via POS. Using the service VinaGame's agent owners will open demand accounts and Values card at VIB to carry out payment transactions with VinaGame via POS machine. The introduction of the program is aimed at diversifying the payment methods existing in the country and replacing the payment service in cash.

VinaGame is a game publisher and e-commerce company established in Vietnam in 2004. VinaGame succeeded in being the first to launch a licensed online game in Vietnam as well as becoming the leader of the country’s online game market.
