Liberty Reserve breaks its word and cancel debit card launch?

HOT Liberty Reserve API hacked. More than 1M+ was stolen.
Bug was fixed only after 3 months.

Liberty Reserve payment system that previously announced the coming updates has admitted the impossibility of some of them. One of such promises was launch of debit cards this month.

“On another note, before the end of this year we are ready to offer a debit card solution for all Liberty Reserve account holders. We are currently working on a design of the debit card itself and copyright materials. We have allocated separate customer support just for the debit card to ensure that all your concerns are addresses properly,” LR representatives promised before.

However in the recent post the company said that due to the coming holidays it is impossible to launch the service as it was promised before.

“Most government offices and banks are getting closed, and we need more time to test the automated loading system to make sure it functions to expected standards. We apologize for any inconvenience,” said the company.
