Small businesses to be trained under co-project of Visa and SCORE
Small business will be able to find necessary advice and information on issues related to securing funding to managing cash flow. Under the conjoint project launched by Visa Inc. and SCORE, "Counselors to America's Small Business," small business owners will be provided with the Financial Management Workbook and Ask SCORE widget aimed at supplying them with relevant ideas and guidance as well as mentoring in how to take critical business decisions.

Small business owners can get access to the free workbook that will provide them with an actionable, easy-to-follow curriculum and information on key areas of concern through the Visa Business Network on Facebook (www.VisaBusinessNetwork.com), at SCORE.org and at the more than 370 SCORE chapters nationwide. Among the topics covered by the book there are tips on how to efficiently manage cash flow, how to maximize income and the speed with which you get paid, and how to minimize expenses. Besides, the book discusses such aspects as knowing your funding options and being prepared for your business's growth and "what if" scenarios.

Small business case studies and related advice from SCORE counselors illustrate each business principle while checklists and financial strategies offer a structured foundation for decision-making.
