Neovia, former Neteller has got €20M investment from Dermot Desmond
Neovia Financial Plc., payment processing company previously known as Neteller, has received notification on 8 December 2008 that, as of this morning, IIU Nominees Limited has acquired, as nominee for and on behalf of Primatur Limited, an interest in 30,759,394 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 25.65% of the Company's issued share capital. IIU Nominees Limited is the registered owner of the shares on behalf of the beneficial owner, Primatur Limited, a company wholly owned and controlled by Mr. Dermot Desmond.

According to some sources a known billionaire investor Dermot Desmond has invested €20m in Neovia that now has become the world's largest independent online money transfer business. 

Earlier the company has acquired a European prepaid debit card firm for €11m.
