MasterCard executive quitted the company to become payments evangelist
Former executive of MasterCard Tom Pouliot was appointed to the position of “payments evangelist,” a newly-created position of Litle & Co., a payment management platform for merchants in direct-to-consumer commerce, reports NFCnews. The main responsibility of ex-official of MasterCard will be to educate employees and merchants and also to serve as briefings executive on the payments industry-at-large, market trends, issues and competitive positioning.

Pouliot has a great experience in payment processing and bank card industry, where he served during 20 years. Prior to joining Litle & Co., Pouliot had founded his own independent sales organization, Alliance Merchant Services. He has also served as vice president of Payment Processing for Promisant Ltd., a multi-currency processing company in Hamilton, Bermuda, and was vice president of Electronic Commerce for MasterCard International, where he served on the International Security Committee, the International Operating Committee and was a representative on the EMV Chip card standards board, says NFCnews.
