American Express partners the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau
American Express has become an Official Card Partner of the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (SFCVB). The aim of this partnership is tol help SFCVB members in expanding their marketing reach and provide offers to high-spending American Express Card members who visit San Francisco or live there. Moreover, American Express will provide insights to member businesses and assist them in understanding current customers, identify new ones and attract back lost customers. 

Some of the first projects conducted under the partnership will include: "American Express Exclusive Offers - Only in San Francisco", where offers from San Francisco retailers, hotels, restaurants, and spas will be open from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2009. Some other examples of the partnership projects could be "3 Nights for the price of 2" (a lodging promotion offering three hotel nights for the price of two), and "Dine About Town San Francisco" (annual promotion through which diners may select from more than 100 Bay Area restaurants offering prix-fixe lunch menus for $21.95 and/or dinner menus for $34.95). 

The San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau is a private, not-for-profit organization marketing the City as a leisure, convention and business travel place. American Express Company is a leading global payments, network and travel company.
