OmniPay is to upgrade to latest FIS IST/Switch 7.6 version
This information was given by Fidelity National Information Services considered a worldwide leader in processing and technology solutions for financial institutions. The FIS IST/ Switch 7.6 is the latest version of the credit and debit processing solution. OmniPay company decided to upgrade it in order to meet full compliance with the recently released Payment Application Data Security Standards (PA-DSS).

The PA-DSS is aiming to help merchants and agents to mitigate the possibilities of a security compromise. And all of that security steps are to make the companies be prepared for growing customers' demands and needs and business difficulties.

PA-DSS ensures that payment applications do not store prohibited data (such as full magnetic stripe, CVV2 or PIN data) and meet a number of other security controls in accordance with the PCI Data Security Standards. Moreover, this upgrading procedure is going to be held without enthusiasm.

OmniPay earned the reputation of leading provider of card and electronic payment processing services to acquiring banks worldwide. It is working with 24 acquiring institutions around the world that have successfully experienced the OmniPay platform. It is noted that its latest IST/Switch version is flexible enough to accommodate OmniPay's business in supporting multiple institutions, multiple currencies, and multiple languages, as well as multiple regions and countries. However, according to Mike Haas, general manager of FIS's global payment software division FIS is interested in keeping OmniPay platform current with compliance requirements that will help to provide world-class processing services to financial institutions.
