MoneyGram stole a march on Western Union
US- based MoneyGram money remittance service has announced its partnership with Development Bank of Gabon (BGD) to provide its services on the local market. The agreement has already been signed by the heads of both companies, by Tony Ryan, President of MoneyGram and Managing Director of BGD, Christian Bongo. 

The agreement has been signed at the headquarters of MoneyGram where the parties have discussed all the details. Previously there were a monopoly on the money transfer market presented by Western Union and the Post. 

The BGD has several branches in all the nine provinces of Gabon, and all of them will know offer MoneyGram  remittance service.
