UBS DMA systems are to be launched in Malaysia
UBS introduced direct market access (DMA) in Malaysia. It will allows launching a new equities trading platform called Bursa Trade Securities 
at Bursa Malaysia.
According to Bursa Malaysia CEO Dato’ Yusli Mohamed Yusoff it is expected that DMA will change the trading landscape in Malaysia. It is considered the fastest way to get the market and improves the range of trading activities. New technology will allow clients to make orders entirely electronically, increase the speed of execution and ensure 100% anonymity.

It will be launched on December 1. Bursa Malaysia is known for its efforts to improve its trading execution capabilities. Now it advices to launch DMA not just for improving Malaysia’s financial ability but also for attracting more global investors.

It is believed that Bursa Malaysia is able to become the global hub for Islamic finance. What do the DMA systems actually offer? It is a zero-touch electronic trading solution that provides direct orders to the exchange for immediate execution. And one of the benefits offered by DMA systems is the significant reduce of the time for orders to be sent and matched from an average of five seconds to a fraction of a second. Also it supports algorithmic and block trading and provides better access to international investors.
