VeriSign will guarantee the quality of products on Alibaba.com
Alibaba.com one of the largest Asian companies has announced its partnership with VeriSign, a known provider of Internet infrastructure services. Owing to this agreement the suppliers subscribed to TrustPass membership service of Alibaba.com will have an opportunity to verify their status as a legitimate business entity, and to use VeriSign Verified(TM) Seal which is considered the best guaranty of quality and the No. 1 sign of trust on the Internet. 

According to the release VeriSign will independently assess the business which were approved by Alibaba, and to allow them using its seals.  

"Now more than ever, buyers are looking for solid reassurance that they're doing business with reliable online suppliers. Adopting VeriSign's authentication and verification process for TrustPass members will help us improve the Alibaba.com experience by giving qualified suppliers the chance to communicate their standing with the globally trusted VeriSign Seal," said Arthur Chang, Vice President of Global Sales, Alibaba.com.
