3.5 million customers use Hong Kong's online banking services
Companiesandmarkets.com made a new market research of online banking in Hong Kong. The report proved that the Hong Kong online banking market is considered one of the most advanced in the world. Moreover, its online banking portals have many things to offer. Some of its features are unique and not seen elsewhere. About 3.5 million customers are using Hong Kong's online banking services. Consumers prefer this online banking market because of its multi-functional opportunities. 

According to the report over a hundred fully licensed foreign banks offer their services in Hong Kong. There are also 23 domestic banks that well function in that online market. However, among the fully licensed banks there are also dozens of restricted licenses banks and deposit taking companies. 

The growing mobile technology abilities will influence the security and two-factor authentication of online banking. Even though Hong Kong's online market falls behind some business parameters Hong Kong banks predicted the potential of the online banking propositions and were ready to eventual challenges. So Chekiang first bank started offering basic online banking in 1997, and Citibank introduced online banking in 1998. So Hong Kong financial experts improved their strategic position using in-depth analysis of the Hong Kong online banking market. 

And if financial services providers hope to attract the business market of China they should study analysis of the Hong Kong market first.
