WebMoney: 3653 days of uninterrupted service

Yesterday a well known online payment provider WebMoney Transfer has congratulated all the system users with anniversary of the payment processor. “3653 days of uninterrupted service have passed from the moment of the first transaction!” reports the official blog of the company.

The company launched in 1998 is a legal corporate entity of Belize, Central America. Originally targeted mainly at Russian clients, it is now used world-wide. The company claims to have 6 378 370 registrations in WebMoney Transfer system. According to the statistics on the site WMT has processed 220115 transactions, and a total turnover is 19 875 872 USD.  

Owing to the Internet penetration and the growing e-commerce literacy of population WebMoney is constantly growing. The main address for technical support is given in Moscow; the main proprietor and administrator is located in Belize. Transactions in WMR are underwritten by WMR LLC in Moscow and transactions in WME and WMZ are underwritten by Amstar Holdings Limited in Panama.

Besides CIS and Eastern European countries, WebMoney has offices in such countries as USA, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Japan, Greece, Israel, France, UAE.
