paybox mobile payment processor has announced its partnership with Sybase 365, a subsidiary of Sybase and the world’s largest provider of mobile data roaming services. Owing to this agreement paybox will be able to extend its mobile payments and mobile money services to customers worldwide.

"paybox's vision for mobile commerce fits well with our business objectives. paybox and Sybase 365 will offer solutions for mobile payments and person-to-person money transfer targeted at both emerging and developed markets.," said Matthew Talbot, vice president, mCommerce, Sybase 365.

paybox's mobile payment software - Mobiliser Portfolio - recognized as one of the broadest on the market - will leverage Sybase 365's integrated mobile messaging services and unrivalled global reach to more than 700 mobile operators and 3 billion subscribers, offering customers an open mobile payment infrastructure standard
